Ann is an amazing combination of fun and more fun! She loves Moment of Surrender by U2, golf and Carrot Top! She’s been known to dance at Starbucks with her granddaughter and would rather jog (or run) than walk. She's a Mac girl all the way!
As a child, Ann remembers her dad serving watermelon and ice cream for breakfast! “It was unforgettable!” Obviously influenced by that moment, Ann loves to create unforgettable environments wherever she goes!
Jared, raised Mennonite, knows little about movies and music before the age of 18 and now chooses not to disclose his preferences! He doesn't dance, but sings with vigor at the worship services at E! You won't see him playing his guitar on the worship team...he says his skills need more work!
Marli Hansen | Worship Pastor
Marli is a creative and passionate young worship leader. She, her husband Jeremy, and their two boys, Jude and Carter, drove from Seattle to Hillsboro and after visiting Evergreen, knew it was the place for them! Since then, they've added a darling little girl, Claire, to their family.
Marli loves a variety of musical styles. A few favorite artists are U2, Brooke Fraser, Switchfoot, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Ingrid Michaelson ... the list could go on and on!
A perfect day for Marli would have to include people, live music, a CrossFit WOD, and a chai tea latte from Insomnia (in any order!)
Kim leads an amazing and fun kid's ministry at E! She sings anywhere and everywhere is is known for spontaneously bursting into the “happy dance!” She frequents Ochoa’s in Hillsboro and recommends as an activity in Washington county...the salsa bar at Ochoa’s.
Kim fondly remembers her parents surprising her by “missing the exit for school” and spending the day at Disneyland. She was obviously shaped by that experience...kids never know the surprising and over-the-top fun they’ll have while getting to know Jesus!
Nathalia Corso | Kids' Ministry Assistant
Nathalia has called E her home for most of her life, volunteering in various ministries. She started serving in Kids and Media in middle school, then interned in a Communications and Kids position for a year during high school. During her time interning, Nathalia fell in love with Kid's Ministry and administration, and after graduating from Glencoe High School, she joined the E team officially! She loves organization, administration, learning, and of course, kids!
Brad Paice | Student Ministries Pastor
Brad hails from a land far, far away where the sun shines, the beaches are warm and every word is shortened for ease of speech, ‘stralia. Brad grew up on Australia's central coast and was transported to Sydney, where he became a police officer and worked with youth on the streets.
Lydia Shepard-Kiser | Associate Pastor
Lydia serves as our Associate Pastor. She enjoys walking her two dogs, Atlas and Eloise, trying new recipes, traveling, and spending time at her parents farm.
Lydia hails from all over Washington as she moved several times growing up, but considers Yakima her hometown where she met her high school sweetheart, Kyle. Lydia is a George Fox University graduate where she received her Masters in Ministerial Leadership.
The perfect day for Lydia would include sleeping in late, drinking a chai tea, and reading a book at a warm beach.
Bryan and Sheila have 2 teenagers at home, Hayley and Harrison, who have grown up at E. Before Bryan came to work at E, he was an Operations Manager for Bank of America Mortgage, a Customer Service Manager for HSBC, and a candy store owner in downtown Hillsboro!! Bryan enjoys backpacking, The Big Island, Star Wars, working on home-projects, and online gaming with his brother in California. He's the cook in their family and Sheila is an amazing baker. You'll find them hosting holiday dinners and BBQ's!
Lori loves serving her E family as office administrator and gets an early start to her day traveling 14 miles from home to the E office. Her weekends: she's content working around their country acreage with her sweetheart whom she fell in love with when she was 17, and married here at E over 35 years ago (when the church had orange pew seats and orange carpet! :)
A great day = time with her family!
